Marc Richardson is a photographer working at the intersection of music, culture, wildlife, and tradition. His work is shaped by patience, trust, and presence — and by the belief that the most honest moments reveal themselves only when you stay long enough to witness them.

With the culture of New Orleans woven into his roots, and shaped by years of unrestricted access to live music through his cousin and friend, drummer Russell Batiste Jr., Marc learned photography not by chasing moments, but by staying present as they unfolded.

Over more than two decades, his work expanded into remote landscapes, wildlife, and the documentation of traditional cultures, particularly in Africa — visiting communities whose ways of life may soon exist only in memory.

His work is not about collecting images. It is about presence.

At its core, his photography invites others into moments he was privileged to witness — and to feel what it was like to be there.
