Music is where I learned how to see.

Long before landscapes and distant cultures, I stood in dark rooms with loud speakers and watched people lose themselves.

Not in performance.
In feeling.

I am drawn to the moments when the guard drops — when an artist stops playing to the room and starts playing from somewhere deeper.

My work in music has never been about celebrity.
It has always been about connection.

A hand gripping a microphone.
Eyes closed in surrender.
A breath taken between songs.

These are small moments.
They are everything.

I photograph shows the same way I photograph the wild or human cultures — by staying present long enough for something honest to happen.

I don’t chase spectacle.
I wait for truth.

Backstage or onstage, what interests me most is the space between intensity and vulnerability.

That edge is where music lives.
